This is shocking and SO unexpected.
Anton Yelchin, known for his starring role in Star Trek, as well as work in Alpha Dog, has died. He was just 27 years old.

According to TMZ, police believe that Yelchin was killed when he was pinned by his own car overnight on Saturday at his home in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley.
Yelchin’s friends were expecting him earlier on Saturday evening for a rehearsal of some sort, and when he never showed, they became alarmed and went to his house to investigate.
It was there, around 1:00 am, that they found him pinned between his car and a brick mailbox attached to a security gate in front of his home.
Law enforcement sources say the car’s engine was running, and the car in neutral, when they arrived.

The driveway is apparently on a steep incline, and cops believe he was pinned when his car rolled down towards him against the brick mailbox and gate, though cops don’t know why he would have gotten out of the car in the first place.
What an unbelievable shock.
