Blame Ashton

Ashton Kutcher is back to what he knows best, punking people. Cuz we all know he can’t act!

The producer of Punk’d has started yet another show punking people.

Clever!

This time, however, things are a bit different. The show, titled Pop Fiction, will now target paparazzi and media outlets. The stars of the show will be those celebs that were tricked on Kutcher’s old show.

Pop Fiction is an eight episode series that will air on E!. The show and the pranks are being kept under wraps.

As you may recall, Paris Hilton was seen having dinner in Los Angeles with a “shaman”, which we told you seemed very much like a publicity stunt. Well, it was!

Paris was in on the act and was staging the whole night for an appearance on Pop Fiction.

After dinner, she told the paps, “He’s really changed my life because the greatest gift is to give.” Guess she punk’ed us there again!

Ashton’s producing partner, Jason Goldberg, says “You’re speaking their language. We live in a culture that’s driven by media and obsessed with celebrity, to the point where they don’t have private lives anymore. Two people going out to eat turns into, ‘They’re engaged.’ It’s a feeding frenzy. It’s dangerous and it’s irresponsible in some cases.”

Unlike Punk’d, Ashton does not appear at the end of every episode to confront the celebs. Goldberg says, “The end results speak for themselves.”

We can’t wait to see what Rumer Willis has in store.

Maybe she’ll finally take her mask off soon!
