Carrie Fisher‘s death gets more upsetting by the minute.
According to TMZ, Carrie died of cardiac arrest Tuesday morning. The report goes on to reveal that the actress might not have suffered a heart attack as previously suspected.
Per a family member close to the situation, Fisher’s loved ones believe the actress’ heart stopped beating while she was aboard the flight from London to Los Angeles. This type of event is different than suffering a major heart attack.
The insider also mentioned how the late star was on life support ever since she was admitted to UCLA Medical Center. Apparently Carrie’s family had been discussing taking her off life support before the fatal cardiac arrest.
To make matters even more dismal, passengers aboard the plane noted how the Star Wars alum appeared lifeless as paramedics carried her off the aircraft. Not to mention it took ten minutes to find the 60-year-old’s pulse.
Sadly, it appears this was a case where nothing could be done for Fisher… her heart simply ceased beating.
