In the eyes of superstitious soccer fans, he may as well be that little girl stepping out of the well from The Ring!

The Ring Drake — We can all agree this is not God’s Plan.

It seems Drake, a big fan of the football, has been taking selfies with players from teams around the world — only to have them lose terribly immediately afterward.
This anti-Midas touch thing may seem silly, but there’s evidence!
For instance, Drake shared this sweet moment with Manchester City‘s Sergio Aguero last month — then last week the striker missed a HUGE penalty in the City’s Champions League quarterfinal.

Unfortunately Kurzawa’s team went on to lose 5-1, its biggest league loss in nearly 20 years!
After Drake posed with Dortmund star Jadon Sancho last month, they lost 5-0 to their rival Bayern Munich
Laugh at this curse idea if you want, but these scores are unreal! Seriously, in soccer a score of 5 may as well be catching the golden snitch.

It even extends past the soccer world.
Apparently Drake took a photo with MMA star Conor McGregor before his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.

One soccer team in particular, Italy’s AS Roma club, even posted a cheeky tweet on Monday, saying:

“All Roma players banned from taking photos with Drake until the end of the season.”

They’re kidding. But are they?
We mean, they do have the UEFA Champions League to worry about.
Poor Aubrey if this keeps spreading. He won’t be able to hang out with any sports stars — they’re all going to treat him like a jinx!
Plus, what are his precious Toronto Raptors going to say??
