Death By Stampede...At a Long Island Wal-Mart back on Black Friday 2008, a 34-year-old employee named Jdimytai Damour was caught in the middle of a rush of shoppers and was stampeded to death at the entrance of the store as doors opened. Damour was apparently literally trampled by shoppers as they rushed to buy items on sale; even responding police had trouble with stampedes as they tried to render aid that came too little, too late.
