The people in San Francisco are taking a stand against injustice!
The San Francisco City Attorney’s office is planning to challenge the validity of Proposition H8TE to ban gay marriage.
A rep for the City Attorney’s office says City Attorney Dennis Herrera will file the legal challenge in the California Supreme Court.
In addition, the first lesbian couple to get married in Los Angeles County, after the Supreme Court threw out the gay marriage ban, are also planning to bring a lawsuit against Prop 8.
Let’s hope a lot of others plan to do the same.
Something needs to be done!
