One of the most successful American Idol alums in years, the rocker is now trashing the show which made him famous, but premiered Tuesday night to disappointing numbers.
“I feel like [American Idol] it├óΓé¼Γäós definitely lacking some credibility at this point,├óΓé¼┬¥ Daughtry tells Rolling Stone. ├óΓé¼┼ôIt├óΓé¼Γäós in a state of decline and if they don├óΓé¼Γäót do something about it, it├óΓé¼Γäós probably not gonna last too much longer. I├óΓé¼Γäóm sure that├óΓé¼Γäóll be used against me, but that├óΓé¼Γäós the truth, you know? People get tired of seeing people that suck,├óΓé¼┬¥ he says. ├óΓé¼┼ôIt├óΓé¼Γäós funny at first, but come on. They spend three weeks on people that can├óΓé¼Γäót sing, and that├óΓé¼Γäós what they├óΓé¼Γäóre banking it on. [They should] find some people that you can really invest in.├óΓé¼┬¥
