The U.S. swimmer is attempting to break the record set by Mark Spitz of winning the most gold medals in one Olympic Games. That record is 7.
Thus far, Phelps has won 5 gold medals and set 5 world records.
Friday, he swam again.
So, how’d he do????
Well, he’s pretty much unstoppable.
He did it!!!!!!! He did it!!!!!!
Michael won the 200-meter individual medley on Friday.
AND, yet again, he set another world record!!!!!
Phelps took home the gold. That’s his sixth of this game. And his 12th Olympic gold medal overall.
6 gold medals down, only two more to go to accomplish the never-been-done-before.
Amazing!
