Jim Carrey's Girlfriend Reportedly Commits Suicide At 28

What sad news.
On Tuesday it was revealed that Jim Carrey‘s on-and-off girlfriend, Cathriona White, reportedly committed suicide from what appears to be an intentional drug overdose. Cathriona was only 28-years-old.

According to sources, the LAPD found White’s body on Monday night and insiders say a suicide letter addressed to Jim made note of their recent breakup on September 24. In fact, the young woman’s final activity on Twitter occurred on same day of the alleged split.
Cathriona ominously tweeted:

Wow. So tragic.
Considering the two originally met in 2012, (they split after a few months of dating and then rekindled their romance in May 2015) we bet this loss is especially hard for the comedian. Three years of friendship and romantic feelings understandably leaves a mark on a person.
While Carrey has yet to address the loss publicly, the last thing he tweeted was a picture that Cathriona had taken in New York City. Check out the bittersweet snap (below):
