It seems there’s a huge problem arising in Mexico, and it has nothing to do with politics or money.
Apparently, there is a wave of violence occuring against emo kids. Why the haterade???
Emo music fans are being attacked in the street by mobs. The attackers are supposedly punk, metal, and rock fans who dislike the emo kiddies for their look and attitude, it’s being reported.

The attacks are being traced back to a rant on air by Kristoff, a TV personality on Televisa TV. Kristoff recently said emo was just “fucking bullshit”, but later – after the attacks, he called for an end to the violence.
Unfortunately for Kristoff, he might take the blame for all the incidents if the Mexican government blames Televisa for all the attacks.
Earlier this month, over 800 people in Querataro, Mexico began to gang up against the emos, which resulted in several violent attacks. Just a week later in Mexico City, a similar incident took place. The emos in both Querataro and Mexico City decided to respond to the violence by marching peacefully through the center of the cities.

And, it seems Mexico isn’t the only country facing this issue. Apparently, Chile is also seeing violence against emos.
Attacks have been shown on news reports throughout the country of emos, known in Chile as “PokEMOns” being attacked.
