Before his November 2016 hospitalization, Kanye West had plastic surgery which triggered an addiction to painkillers. The rapper admitted this during his TMZ Live appearance on Tuesday.
As we reported, during a phone call with Hot 97‘s Ebro, Kim Kardashian‘s husband told the radio personality he was “addicted to opioids” and felt that “nobody really showed love.”

While speaking to the publication on Tuesday, the Famous musician said he got liposuction a couple of years ago because he didn’t want to be called “fat” and receive the same media scrutiny as brother-in-law Rob Kardashian, who famously ditched Kimye’s wedding in May 2014.
After going under the knife, Ye says he became hooked on medication, and was taking two pills a day.
Two days before he was hospitalized, West says he was able to kick the habit. Unfortunately, after leaving professional care, he was then prescribed seven pills a day.
He says his drug dependence is the reason why he wrote controversial tweets on Twitter around the time he met with then-President-elect Donald Trump in December 2016.
Simply put:
“I was drugged the fuck out, bro!”
Ultimately, he believes America has a severe drug problem which needs to be fixed.
