Has there ever been an award show on MTV without controversy?
It’s the question we have to ask after seeing Kim Kardashian West‘s cornrows at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards Saturday night. She worked the red carpet in an Atelier Versace outfit alongside momager Kris Jenner, but it was her hair styling that lit up Twitter.
Many online commenters were accusing the mother of three of cultural appropriation (she swam in hot water for the very same reason earlier this year). Something tells us she knew what she was doing though!
Also in attendance was host Tiffany Haddish in a gorgeous silver gown and Farrah Abraham fresh off the heels of her arrest for battery. Isn’t daughter Sophia Abraham adorable here?
