Is Kim Zolciak-Biermann a racist???
That was the hot button question addressed during part three of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. On Sunday, the RHOA ladies continued to butt heads over their various beefs. Thus, once again, Kim faced off against NeNe Leakes regarding #RoachGate.

In case you forgot, the drama all started when the 39-year-old’s daughter Brielle seemingly found black bugs in the Glee alum’s home. After Brielle documented the bug findings on social media, NeNe accused the mother-daughter duo of racism. It didn’t help that Zolciak-Biermann said Leakes was “sick and disgusting” for living in a “roach nest.”
Understandably, Kim’s black castmates felt her words were unkind, as it implied that NeNe was living in the projects. Rather than concede, the mother of six defended herself:
“You’re reaching. Reaching. Don’t try it. It has nothing to do with the projects or none of that shit. A roach is a roach.”
While Kim held her own against her enraged castmates, she eventually broke down during a private meeting with Andy Cohen. Through tears, the Bravolebrity relayed:
“That bitch knows I’m not racist. NeNe knows I’m not racist. You know why you have not found another white woman to [join the cast]? Because nobody is dumb enough to do that! Put yourself in my shoes ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ five African-American women ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ just hammered! I couldn’t even speak, my mind’s a fucking whirlwind!”
Man, oh man. Kim continued to defend herself, adding that social media only worsened the claims against her:
“This whole racism thing in this day in age is bullshit. Everyone of those motherfuckers on that couch owe this world a fucking apology for this racism shit. They already tried to claim that shit long ago. Nobody bought into it then because the social media wasn’t there and racism wasn’t fucking all that real. You know it.”
Well, that’s just not true. Social media has simply highlighted an issue that’s plagued this country for hundreds of years.
Nonetheless, the racism allegations have greatly affected Kim and her family, as she received death threats over the scandal. She added:
“She wants to pull the race card. That’s the devil, bitch. There’s not a racist bone in my body. Not me, my husband, or my children see color. Never have.”
Kim wasn’t just blasted for #RoachGate either, as her costars also called her out for starting drama and spreading hate. Although she shrugged off most of their shade, she confided in Cohen:
“How much can a person take? There wasn’t even one positive question for me. I was hammered! ├óΓé¼┬ª There wasn’t a positive question. I have a very successful [sic] marriage, I have beautiful children, there was nothing positive.”
Shockingly, not even Andy had words of encouragement for Kim, as he noted:
“There was nothing positive, unfortunately, in your story from the season. It was all combative, it was. Because your whole time on the show as combative, it was.”
Eek. At the end of the day, we think it’s a good thing that Kim has walked away from RHOA for good.
