Leave it to the New York Times to over analyze ever inch of fabric Lindsay Lohan‘s worn to court.
In an article published on Wednesday, the newspaper gets Gloria Allred‘s take on LiLo’s courtroom attire and shiz got nasty.
Gloria, who advises her own clients to dress for court like they’re going to church, quipped: “She walks into court like a movie star; apparently she hopes to be one”.
Ouch.
She also compared LiLo’s perp walk to walking down the red carpet and thinks she was inspired by Chicago‘s Roxie Hart who famously sang “I├óΓé¼Γäóm gonna be a celebrity. They├óΓé¼Γäóre gonna recognize my eyes, my hair my teeth, my boobs, my nose.”
Ha!
As far as her wardrobe choice go, Allred had this to say:

“If anything, her outfits are alienating. A court wants to feel that the defendant has a proper respect for the gravity of the occasion. I suppose we ought to be grateful that she├óΓé¼Γäós not wearing shorts.”

Marina Albright, a partner of the clothing rental service Albright Fashion Library, echoed Gloria’s thoughts.
Albright thought Lindsay’s shoes gave off a dominatrix vibe and should have worn kitten heels instead, adding “You would think she would want to dress like a lady ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ or at least pretend to be one.”
Maybe she will at her next court date, but we wouldn’t bet on it.
