As we reported yesterday evening, Offset was arrested down in Georgia after being pulled over in a traffic stop by police.
Originally, authorities had indicated it may be a window tint violation that first got the rapper (real name: Kiari Cephus) pulled over, but we can confirm now it is what police are calling a “lane change violation,” and NOT the window tint.

Regardless, other new facts about the arrest and aftermath are coming out, too — namely, that bail for Cardi B‘s baby daddy has been set at $17,000, as of this morning, so it would appear Offset may have spent the night in jail.
Furthermore, it turns out the rapper had THREE handguns in the vehicle, as well as $107,000 in cash! (So, no problem paying that bail money, then?)
And, it’s official, Offset was hit with these four charges — some of which we knew yesterday: possession of a firearm by a felon (felony!), possession of a weapon during a crime (felony!), possession of marijuana, one ounce or less (misdemeanor) and improper lane change (misdemeanor).
Those two felonies could turn out to be pretty serious here. We’ll see in time, and keep you posted along the way…
