Aguilar reportedly dated Mendoza and lived with her and Lopez. Palomino was reportedly Mendoza’s ex-boyfriend.
Allegedly, Mendoza and Lopez were picked up in a car by their killers on June 4. Mendoza was allegedly killed at a cemetery in Owens Cross Roads following a dispute over a drug transaction in which she was allegedly involved.
Authorities have linked Mendoza to the Sinaloa Cartel, which traffics narcotics, according to AL.com.
After Mendoza was allegedly fatally stabbed in front of Lopez, Lopez was then allegedly driven two miles away where she was beheaded, according to WAAY.
Aguilar allegedly told investigators Palomino forced him to kill the teen.
Their bodies were reportedly found days later.
According to AL.com, Lopez had special needs.
Neither suspects have entered pleas, and they are being held without bail.
