Thursday saw part one of Charlie Gibson‘s interview on ABC with Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin.
And, it turns out that ABC took in some high ratings.
People are really fascinated by this Palin chick and what she has to say – or not say!
According to the Nielsen Media Research, World News With Charles Gibson averaged 9.7 million viewers and a 2.5 rating/10 share in adults 18-49 on Thursday.
That’s the highest viewed episode since last February.
ABC News’ Nightline even outdid The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and David Letterman’s show in the ratings.
Even ABCNews.com got a huge boost in traffic thanks to the set of interview clips they had up there.
They got 3 million page views, including 600,000 streaming videos for the interview.
Will people get tired of Palin any time soon?
