We bet a lot of parents with teens can relate to this story!
In an interview with People Magazine, Melissa Rivers revealed how her 15-year-old son Cooper Endicott is coping with Joan Rivers' death now that he's a full-fledged teenager. Coop was just 13-years-old when his grandmother passed away in 2014 from a surgery gone wrong.

For those who don't know, the teen was especially close to his beloved grandma. The boy even lived with Ms. Rivers for an extended period of time after M.R. divorced his father John Endicott in 2003.
Now that C.E. is a little bit older, his momma reveals he's handling the comedienne's death as any typical teenager would:
"He misses her, but he has moved into the typical teenage phase of pulling it out as a weapon."
A "weapon"? Sounds interesting…
The 48-year-old went on to explain that Cooper will try to use the sad situation to his advantage, saying:
Joan Rivers may no longer be with us, but it seems like E!'s Fashion Police still has a LOT of bite!
In a brand new episode of the show that will air tonight, Kris Jenner joins the panel to discuss all things New York Fashion Week — and she even goes after one of her own!

Melissa Rivers has been a staple at the Oscars ever since she began covering the red carpet back in 1995, so it makes sense that she'd have an opinion on the awards show's latest controversy.
As you're surely aware, the Academy Awards came under fire over the last week after it was revealed that almost all of the nominees this year are white… including every single acting category!
