Serial Is Coming Back For 2 More Seasons Of Podcast Greatness!

Two more years! Two more years!
One of the biggest pieces of pop culture in 2014 is about to take over the next two years as well.
That’s because the new seasons of Serial just got their premiere dates, and we’re so ready for the podcast to envelope every aspect of our lives!
Host/Producer Sarah Koenig made the announcement herself in a blog post on Thursday saying that the two new stories will be recorded concurrently with Season Two premiering this Fall, and Season Three debuting Spring 2016.
There’s no word yet on which criminal cases will be followed for the Adnan Syed follow-ups, but Sarah did give a small hint, saying:

“We can’t tell you details about the new stories yet. What we can say is that they’re very different from Season One, but no less interesting to us.”

That’s good enough for us!

We assume they’ll both still be about murder trials, but we wonder how different they’ll actually be.
