Sonic Drive-In wants you to make some new memories this summer. Memories of going to Sonic Drive-In to try that new Pickle Juice Slush just to see if it’s delicious or disgusting!
The restaurant chain announced the release of the limited edition (phew) pickled flavored soft drink on Monday, headlining a summer lineup of eccentric frozen treat flavors like Tiger’s Blood, Blue Hawaiian, and Bahama Mama.
Unexpectedly, people aren’t sure what to think. Pickle fans and haters alike expressed many opinions about the new drink on Twitter, with most curious as to how it tastes.

According to a taster from Food & Wine magazine, the drink is mostly “sweet and tangy” and actually “a bit too sweet” as if overcorrecting the acidity.
But fear not, pickle addicts. The magazine reported that Sonic will let customers add a squirt of the pickle syrup to any menu item — so you can make your drink as pickle-y as your heart desires!
