MSNBC talking heads Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann are reportedly jockeying for Tim Russert‘s Meet the Press job.
Matthews was allegedly talking about his strategy to win the MTP anchor spot at Russert’s DC memorial on Wednesday!

Matthews has of course denied the claim.
Olbermann supposedly said he’ll quit if he doesn’t get the job.
MSNBC has denied these crazy rumors.
A source reports that Russert wanted Chuck Todd, the NBC News political director he hired, to succeed him.
Is this Todd guy any good?
We’ve never even seen him on TV!
