The Duggars are done.
After weeks of speculation TLC has finally cancelled the reality show 19 Kids And Counting.
It may have seemed the obvious move in the wake of star Josh Duggar‘s shocking confession that he had molested several girls — including his sisters Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald.

TLC President Marjorie Kaplan explained the wait, saying:

“We spent the past month and a half in thoughtful consideration about what is the best way forward here.”

Frankly, waiting at all seems like a bad decision to us.
They lost their hit show anyway, but now they look like they cared more about ratings than doing what was right.
19 Kids lasted 10 seasons and was TLC’s most watched show of all time.

The network is trying to make amends; they announced they would be teaming with child protection organizations for a campaign to raise awareness of sexual abuse.
The campaign will begin with a one-hour documentary airing on TLC — featuring Jill and Jessa.
