Regardless of the appropriateness of the prank, it’s clear Mike and Mel are sorry for how their actions may have contributed to Jacintha’s death.
The 2Day FM station has since canceled the morning show, suspended advertising sales, banned any further prank calls, and began a company-wide review of “relevant company policies and processes.”
The world is deeply saddened by this senseless tragedy.
Hopefully Jacintha’s husband and kids are coping as well as can be expected.
