Most places you go to see 3-D movie at offer you recycled, plastic specs to enjoy Avatar in your face.
However, there are some places that offer the experience with electronic 3-D glasses. Sounds fancy right? Well, it’s not.
In fact, one critic at the Wall Street Journal gave the Clash of the Titans flick a biased review since his glasses made the images look “murky.” After the review was printed, the film’s 3-D converters invited the critic to watch segments at their office. After seeing the real deal, it was concluded that electronic 3-D glasses, while built to blow your mind, need to charged or changed of batteries every couple of uses. When they aren’t, Megan Fox just looks like she is running away from a big set of LEGOs.
So make sure you are getting your money’s worth if you can afford (and find) a theater that offers these electronic specs.
