3-D Movies Jack Up The Price Of Movie Tickets!

Oh, good.

Because going to see a movie isn’t already expensive enough!!

Now that 3-D films are the new fad, ticket prices are beginning to sky-rocket, and according to a recent survey, are 26% more expensive in some theaters!!

The report claims:

“If consumers absorb the price increases without issue, we believe it bodes well for the pricing power of the movie exhibition industry. It appears that each theater circuit has its own strategy related to price increases this weekend. Certain chains are raising prices across the board, some are focusing on the 3D ticket premium, and others are focusing only on raising adult ticket prices.”

Absolutely ridiculous.
