This is probably for the better. LOLz!
Melanie Griffith is pretty proud of her daughter Dakota Johnson for nabbing the role of Anastasia Steele in 50 Shades of Grey, but don’t expect her to see the movie anytime soon.
Why? Because Dakota said so, that’s why!
The Body Double actress has vocally expressed her satisfaction with her daughter’s big role. It’s just a shame that she’s not going to see the outcome!
But then again, it’ll be pretty awkward.
Melanie revealed that Dakota outwardly said no to her parents seeing the film. She said:
“I have not seen 50 Shades of Grey. I don’t think I’m going to see it├óΓé¼┬ª[Dakota] was like, ‘You guys cannot come. There’s no way.’ So we’re not going. I did go visit for a couple of days when they were shooting just normal stuff. I did see the Room of Pain ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I did go in there and check it out.”
At least they went out to support her and Dakota knows she has her mom’s support.
That’s all that matters, right?
We’re not sure we know of any parent who would be willing to watch their child get into some pretty crazy sexual stuff on the big screen!
