It seems that last year Harry Potter author, and everyone’s favorite, J.K. Rowling earned LESS money than 50 Shades of Grey writer EL James.
It seems that 50 Shades earned EL just over $56 million while Jo only collected about $14.6 million in profits!
Yikes! Does this mean J.K. is poor now? Is she not making any money?! Should us wizards muggles be worried?!?
Calm your wands, wiz-kids. No need to go Avada Kedevra-ing anyone!
With a bunch of new movies, a mini-series, and more in the works, PLUS a brand new section of Harry Potter world opening in Florida, we think Jo is doing JUST fine in life.
So, clearly, spells and magic are still superior to whips and handcuffs with just about everyone except soccer moms.
