This is good news!
More airports are being able to charter flights to/from Cuba, in an effort to reach out more to the people of the communist country.
Here are the additions:
Customs and Border Protection officials say charter flights to Cuba can now be scheduled from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and international airports in Baltimore, Dallas/Fort Worth, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Atlanta and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Previously, flights were only permitted from Los Angeles, Miami and New York.
Fab!
Cuba is a beautiful country, and it’ll be nice to see more people get to experience it! And vice versa with the Cuban people and the U.S.!
We’ll still have to meet certain travel requirements, but, this gives more people more options!
