We guess she wanted to move on!
CSI: NY‘s Melina Kanakaredes is not returning to the show after 6 seasons. Supposedly her contract was up and while CBS offered a new deal she wasn’t interested.
She says:
“I made some amazing and lifelong friendships during my six seasons on CSI: NY, and I will treasure them forever!”
As for a possible replacement, rumor has it that Sela Ward is under consideration to star opposite Gary Sinise in the show’s upcoming 7th season.
She could be good!
