In 1985, Irish rocker Bob Geldof and promoter Harvey Goldsmith set out to raise money to feed the hungry in Ethiopia. Now their journey in creating the international charity concert, Live Aid is becoming a TV movie.
The film, When Harvey met Bob, has begun filming in Dublin.
Producer Kate Triggs said:
“We were inspired by this story because it has, at its heart, a fantastic relationship that is funny, moving and born out of the real drama of trying to achieve something huge and unprecedented. It’s a film about two men who are prepared to think the unthinkable and achieve the seemingly impossible.”
