Dora The Explorer Day!

Is this really necessary?!
In more than 20 cities and states across the US, Dora the Explorer Day will be held on Saturday, August 14th. As part of Dora’s 10th anniversary, citizens of these areas (including NYC and Miami) are encourage to embrace the character’s spirit of love, exploration and cooperation.
Nickelodeon also celebrated the decade of Dora with multi-platform pro-social campaign called Beyond the Backpack. It promotes school readiness for preschoolers. Salma Hayek, Shakira, Jessica Alba, Drew Brees and Slash are among the celebrities that designed Dora-inspired backpacks to be auctioned off for the cause.
Sounds like a good cause, but maybe we’re just cynics. Enjoy!
