You know, we’re no accountant, but we’re pretty sure yours is having an aneurism right about now, Teresa Giudice!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been put through the ringer recently, with all kinds of reports of bankruptcy and foreclosure and what not. We’ve heard rumbles of yard sales and kerfufles of the family losing their house.
And yet, today we bring you a story about how Teresa spent $60,000 on shopping spree right after filing bankruptcy!
Italian princess say what now?! Let us break this down for you:
Teresa and her hubby Joe are in $11 million worth of debt. While the family claims to only make $79,000 a year, they to be able to afford a shopping trip to furnish their $1.8 million home in Towaco, NJ with all hangings, mirrors, frames, tables, and such worth $45,000, along with curtains that cost, wait for it, $8,800!
This is all going on while they have lost two of their real estate properties, defaulted on their payments on their Escalade, and all of their fancy junk is going up for auction in October.
Insanity!
We hope you really like those curtains, girl. In a few weeks, you’re going to have to use them as blankets to keep you warm in the cardboard box you’ll be living in along the NJ Turnpike!
