Oh, Jojo Siwa… what is this??
On Instagram Monday, the Dance Moms alum made an exciting announcement: she’s going back on tour! Debuting JoJo Siwa LIVE, she revealed she’s making 22 stops across North America. See her announcement (below):
Reception to the tour has been interesting… but mostly because people are PISSED over a $900+ VIP package! Not only is it pricy for young fans, it’s… Well, just read it! On the ticket site, the “Dream Guest VIP” package says:
“Includes 1 GA ticket to the show, Watch the show from designated audience area of your choice* Invitation to JoJo’s Live Show setup before Q&A and Soundcheck, Help JoJo put together the show with song selection input, Autographed JoJo memorabilia worn during the show, Pre-show soundcheck featuring a Q&A with JoJo, Pre-show Meet & Greet and photo op with JoJo, Early entry, Pre-show merch shopping, On-site VIP host.”
Critics really latched on to the “help JoJo put together the show” part! Um… you’re right in the middle of the action as… a roadie??

To make matters worse, while chatting with Access Hollywood this week, the 21-year-old drilled it in further:
“You’re actually going to get to come during — while, we’re like, loading in the show. And you’re going to kind of, like, help us set it up and make sure things are right. Test out, you know, drums with me or the DJ booth with me.”
OMG, we were kidding. You really pay money to be a roadie? Is that what she’s saying?! Wild!
Fans had THESE scathing things to say about the VIP experience:
“Jojo Siwa charging fans for an exclusive experience of helping set up the show, sounds like something a carney wrestling promoter would come up with.”
“Jojo Siwa having a $900 vip ticket package where you can help set up the stage… girl what kinda s**t is that”
“Why pay a crew guy when you can get a crew guy to pay you…”
“Want to pay over $900 to…help JoJo Siwa‘s crew set up? Yep, you read that right! Find out about this wild tour package that lets you live the roadie life. Is it a dream or a nightmare?”
Sources tell TMZ the VIP tour experience is all about making fans a part of the action and giving them insight into how the show is put together. They’ll get a say in the night’s playlist and gain backstage access while the crew sets up — but they won’t be doing any kind of labor! Uh huh…
JoJo’s tour kicks off July 10 in Houston. What do U think about her “VIP” package? Sound OFF (below).
