So far, two different actresses have portrayed Hoda Kotb opposite Kristen Wiig as Kathie Lee on Saturday Night Live. Both of those actresses were given the axe after one year on the show. So, in what was an usual turn of events for the 17th hour of The Today Show, Kathie Lee posed an insightful question:
Is there a “Hoda Curse” on the show?
Hmm. We think it’s certainly possible, but maybe if the next actress commits more to the role, they’ll stay around longer. We suggest three bottles of Stoli before rehearsals and an extra one for right before show time. That should get whoever it is into character right quick!
