Good thing they settled!
Between Paris Hilton’s 7,000,000 hours of community service and Hallmark’s uphill battle to boost ratings with their newly acquired Martha Stewart Show, they were both really too busy to deal with an ongoing lawsuit.
Hilton sued Hallmark in 2007 for a greeting card that ripped off Hilton’s reality show The Simple Life, and featured a pun on her catchphrase “That’s Hot.”
No specific details on how much money Paris was awarded with this settlement, but it looks like she was fairly compensated for the trauma of being associated with the devil-like folks at Hallmark!
Sure, Paris may be associated with her sex tape and cocaine, but at least now she can sleep easy with the knowledge that she’s shed herself of her Hallmark association!
Do U think Hallmark was in the wrong with their usage of Paris’ Simple Life persona in their cards?
