Although Randy and Evi Quaid‘s Texas home was auctioned off on Tuesday, no one seems to want it!
Barely half a dozen people showed up for the auction, where the bidding started at $150,000. No one responded to the initial asking price and it wasn’t until it came down to $90,000, that the original owner, Bob Wright, raised his hand and won the bid.
“I’m gonna sell it,” said Wright. “That building is on the market.”
The house was practically left empty except for lumber stacked along the wall, a horse trough used as a makeshift bathtub and a dying, yet still decorated Christmas tree.
“The sheriff packed up the contents and took it to storage,” added Wright. “It’ll be auctioned off at a later time.”
Hope the next owner of the house enjoys – and actually pays for it!
