The last text messages Mackenzie Shirilla sent to her late boyfriend, Dominic Russo, have been revealed.
Just days before the convicted murderer intentionally drove her car 100 mph into a brick wall in Strongsville, Ohio, killing both Dominic and his friend Davion Flanagan, the former couple were texting pretty often. On July 24, 2022, he reached out to Mackenzie that there was money in his room, specifically “on the dresser,” and to bring it for a tow guy. Another message shortly afterward is Dominic telling her “filet is bad,” he “should’ve cooked it yesterday,” and he is “not getting heinens steak no more.”
That same day, he goes on to ask her if she got Davion. To which she replied, “No.” He then asked:
“Didnt he hyu?”

Mackenzie said that Davion “did,” and “he’s getting ready.” However, the friend apparently was taking too long for her liking! She later complains that Davion is “taking so long to come out.” She added:
“Makes me feel like im in yhhr wrong place”
Dominic assured her that she was in the “right place,” but Mackenzie was growing increasingly impatient. She continued:
“Why is he taking si long”
Two minutes later, Dominic asked if Davion had come out yet. When he hadn’t, she called him to tell him to “hurry up.” She dropped a slur, saying:
“Hat the [F-word]”
Whoa! Almost 15 minutes later, she texts Dominic four times, “Wya,” meaning where you at. It is unknown whether Mackenzie had trouble with her service or sent them all in a row due to her impatience at the time.
The pair continued to text more in the days after, but no other massive red flags or hints that Mackenzie would go on to kill both Davion and Dominic very soon. They just talked about a salad kit being back, and she once asked him to open the door. But notably, on July 29, she texted Dominic, “WTF.” It’s unknown why she sent that. And the following day, she messaged him to “turn” something “down or off,” noting:
“That s**t is annoying and loud.”
Wow…
Perezcious readers know these texts are pretty tame for Mackenzie and Dominic. Previously released messages showed the pair had an extremely toxic relationship before she murdered him and Davion in the crash, as they argued over her getting a sugar daddy, threatening to harm herself or him, and more.
