Hank Azaria Slams Taylor Swift For Attending Knicks Game: 'We Had To Sit With Her All Through The NFL, And Now She's At The Garden'

The dads, Brads, Chads, and now Hanks of the world are getting upset about Taylor Swift simply living her life and going to a game!

While on The Dan Le Batard Show on Thursday, Hank Azaria — an actor best known for his work on The Simpsons — slammed the pop star for attending Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night! No joke! He went off, complaining about how he had to see her at NFL games due to her supporting her fiancé, Travis Kelce, and now she is at the NBA Finals:

“I’ll tell you the one that bothered me was Taylor Swift. I know she’s the hugest thing in the world, but we had to sit with her all through the NFL, and now she’s at the Garden. Come on.”

Hank didn’t stop there either! The 62-year-old voice actor said he is “tired of” Taylor and finds it “ridiculous” that she got four seats for herself, a security guard, and friends Alana and Este Haim. According to Hank, it’s already challenging enough for celebrities to get complimentary tickets to games at Madison Square Garden due to the high demand:

“You don’t know from the Garden if you’re going to get in until that day. If you’re Ben Stiller or Tracy Morgan, you know. I think Spike [Lee] actually pays for his tickets. So they don’t let you know until day-of because there’s such high demand.”

And although the Emmy winner did get comped seats to watch the Knicks’ historic win, he was “way up in what they call the Cisco Suites, which are, like, the ceiling,” along with other big-name celebs! He claimed DJ Questlove, Office alum Rainn Wilson, actor Ed Burns, model Christy Turlington, Succession alum Jeremy Strong and Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge were all also “stuck … up in the rafters.”

Hank went on to say that since he “didn’t make the cut” for comped seats for Game 3 on Monday, he bought “outrageously expensive” Game 4 tickets. However, he ended up giving them to two of his friends as an “extravagant gift” after he found out about his free seats. Once he saw the suite, he instantly regretted giving up the “great seats” to his pals. However, he “couldn’t switch with them.”

And how is any of this Taylor’s fault? She is the biggest star in the world. Did you really think the Garden would put her up in the rafters? No! And another thing! Taylor is allowed to go out and live her life like everyone else! If the singer wants to sit courtside at a basketball game, she can! What do you expect her to do just because she’s a superstar? Hide all the time? Screw that! There’s also no need to put her down just because you’re butthurt about your seats! Not to mention, it’s not a good look to complain about getting FREE tickets! It reeks of jealousy, and it’s certainly not the way to end up courtside next time! Watch the podcast episode (below):

First, it’s Knicks radio analyst Monica McNutt. Now, it’s Hank. It’s actually romantic how bothered some folks get over someone enjoying her life! What are your thoughts on his comments, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments (below)!
