A Jeffrey Epstein survivor is speaking out with a shocking story about how she tried to “kill” him by passing an STD.
On Monday, Roza Gilles opened up to CNN about being abused by the dead human trafficker years ago. Before becoming the CrossFit champ she is now, Roza started a modeling career as a teen:
“I was really tall and skinny. I was kind of an awkward looking girl.”
Roza would eventually sign a contract with Epstein’s modeling agency MC2 in 2008, which was founded by French scout Jean-Luc Brunel. The next year, she moved to New York City, and that summer, was sent to West Palm Beach to take photos at Epstein’s mansion. But later in the summer, Roza struggled to book gigs… So Epstein made her an offer:
“‘Work for me as a secretary.’ What I was told [was] all I do is pick up the phone and say, ‘Florida Science Foundation, how can I help you?’”
What Roza did not realize at the time, though, was that Epstein had recently pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution from a minor in Florida and was in a work release program while serving jail time. Her first weekend at Epstein’s office at 18 years old, she was asked by another female employee to massage Epstein’s feet… Before things spiraled into a traumatizing event:
“He gives me his foot, and I’m looking at his foot and he has an ankle monitor on. He has a plastic thing wrapped around his foot with a black box on it with a blinking light. I go, ‘What is this?’ And he flips around and goes, ‘Take off your shirt.’ I froze. And then the woman comes over and starts unbuttoning my blouse. She takes it off, then she takes off my bra, and then she walks out. I sat in that room staring at the bottle of Fiji water while a man was groping me and masturbating. And then when he was done, he stood up and he left. I couldn’t scream, I didn’t ask for help, and I thought this was all a dream.”
What a horrid, horrid situation.
Through tears, Roza went on:
“I never told any soul about this. I thought I was going to die if I do.”
Heartbreakingly, Roza revealed Epstein abused her EVERY weekend after that. And even when a man in uniform Roza thought would save her showed up at Epstein’s mansion, no such thing happened:
“I thought to myself, ‘Thank you. This is going to be the day this all stops.’ [Following] the sheriff walked in Jeffrey. They giggled, they laughed together, they buddied it up. I just stood in the kitchen looking at the sheriff thinking to myself, ‘At some point he’s going to turn to me and be like who are you?’ He walked out [and said] nothing.”
It was in that moment that Roza came to a realization:
“And then I figured it all out: he’s currently serving his sentence while he’s doing the same thing to everybody else, and nobody’s there to help us.”
That’s so chilling.
“He was wearing an ankle monitor. He didn’t stop what he was doing. [While walking] with it, he was doing the same thing.”
Roza continued to be abused for years to come in New York City — abuse she didn’t believe would end until Epstein died. So she tried to make that happen through the most heartbreaking way imaginable:
“I ran around New York City as a child trying to get an STD to kill a pedophile because I didn’t believe the government would ever stop him.”
Barely able to speak through tears, Roza continued:
‘That wasn’t my job to stop him.”
To this day, Roza still wonders why no one at her modeling agency stepped in when she was very clearly going through something:
“They saw me drink every night. I would just scratch myself until I bleed. And as I was spiraling down, as I was losing weight, my hair was falling out, I kept this secret inside of me for so long.”
Roza was eventually able to escape Epstein and relocate to the midwest, where she met her now-husband and dedicated her life to fitness. She now owns a gym with her husband, which she describes as her “happy place.” She works with women, children, and fellow survivors. As for why she’s finally speaking out, Roza explained:
“I hope somebody hears my story who finds themselves in the same place, would reach out to me and say, ‘Help me.’”
Now, she continues to work on healing herself:
“As a survivor of something that horrendous, [fitness] is hands down the only reason I’m still standing here today. If I didn’t find this place for me, I don’t think I would have survived.”
An Epstein survivor who has never spoken out publicly is revealing new details about the abuse she suffered. She tells @mj_lee she thought killing Epstein was the only way to stop him: “I ran around New York City as a child trying to get an STD to kill a pedophile.” pic.twitter.com/FOueXg1OTr
