Yikes! We totally get it!
Adrien Brody is suing the filmmakers of Italian horror Giallo because he was not paid for his work.
The film, which was directed by Dario Argento, is about a detective (played by Brody) who is helping a woman find her sister, who has been kidnapped by a serial killer. After a week into production, producers still owed Brody $640,000, but signed the actor to a new agreement where he would finish the film if given the “absolute right to withhold consent to the use of his likeness├óΓé¼┬¥ until he was paid.
And he’s doing just that!
Brody is seeking a permanent injunction against the release of the film, as well as damages for breach of contract, breach of fair dealing, fraud and misappropriation of his publicity rights.
