Travis Kelce is making plans for life after the NFL!
The Kansas City Chiefs star might be following in the footsteps of his wife, Taylor Swift, according to a new insider for Rob Shuter‘s SubStack Naughty But Nice.
On Friday, a source dished that rumors have been swirling around El Lay and Nashville that KillaTrav might give singing a try!
They said:
“Travis has been talking about making a country album for months. The wedding performance wasn’t just a fun moment—it was a test run. He was singing in front of the biggest names in music, and he wanted to see how it felt.”
Ooh!
As you know, the couple sang a duet at their wedding inside Madison Square Garden. Talk about a huge stage to do a test run on!
The source added that the 36-year-old’s brother Jason Kelce recently saying he “can sing” wasn’t a coincidence, either. Reportedly, it was just an Easter egg for what Trav wants to do with his career post-football.

But just because he’s got one foot in the door already with his wife doesn’t mean it’ll be an easy feat:
“Some of Taylor’s friends in the music industry think he’s underestimating how tough country music really is. Celebrity might get you through the front door, but it won’t keep you on the charts. You still have to earn the respect of Nashville.”
The tight end thinks he’s got what it takes, though, despite the skepticism! The insider said:
“People said Taylor and Travis would never make it, never get married, and certainly never pull off a Madison Square Garden wedding. They’ve proved everyone wrong before. Travis has relentless drive, enormous charisma, and the biggest superstar in music standing beside him.”
Taylor is a big source of support, too:
“With Taylor in his corner, Travis believes the sky’s the limit. Now it’s Nashville’s turn to decide if it’s ready for football’s next act.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Travis has tested his musical abilities and released a song, either! So it’s just building momentum from there!
