Dolly Parton is giving her fans another update on her health.
As you know, the 80-year-old star has been having some health problems as of late. She recently went to the ribbon cutting of her Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, but her health has prevented her from doing other things. Most notably, she had to cancel her Las Vegas residency.

She’s undoubtedly been going through it after the passing of her longtime husband Carl Dean, but she’s assuring fans in a new update that she’s okay — she’s just having a few hiccups in the road. She came to Dollywood last week via video instead of a public appearance as planned. She was due to introduce the new NightFlight Expedition ride at her theme park.
In a fan-captured video that’s now going viral, the Coat of Many Colors singer had butterfly wings behind her, and said to viewers:
“I’ve told you before, all my fans, that I’ve had a few little health issues and sometimes I get a little dizzy and I get dehydrated. And I’m dehydrated. So my Nashville doctor has kind of clipped my wings, saying, ‘You ain’t traveling this week.’ So I guess if your doctor tells you, ‘You ain’t traveling this week,’ you ain’t traveling this week.”
She added, however, that “all is going well on the medical end of things” and that she’s going to see everyone “down the road” sometime.
It’s great to hear things are going well for Dolly and that she’s putting her health first. We’re sending so much love and healing her way.
