And honestly? If you know about the guy then you know he has absolutely transformed his trajectory in life, so we want to listen to what he has to say!
It’s not just dating tips he’s dropping here. He’s helping people get a whole new outlook on what’s possible for themselves. Spreading light and positivity. We love it! So before we get into the stuff about his romance with Jen, we’re gonna first share some points he made about self love, forgiveness, and the power of releasing insecurities. After all, if people want to truly experience a healthy relationship, getting in a good place with one’s self is a great first step!

On the topic of insecurity, he says:
“Forgive yourself for not being healthy and whole. For not having enough money, for all those things that you’re beating yourself up for. It’s not true. Just forgive yourself first. And the second thing is, guess what? You’re so lovable. So incredibly lovable. Start with you. Love yourself. Because when you can love yourself and accept yourself, everything changes. You don’t have to be perfect anymore. Guess what? You are lovable and complete as you are. And everybody makes mistakes.”
Forgiveness is extremely powerful! Resistance to the idea might be tempting to some, but at the end of the day what is that attachment to anger, to pain, really serving?
“And from that point of loving forgiveness, you move on to say, Okay, if I no longer have to be afraid and shameful because I’ve done these things, I’ve forgiven myself. And I no longer have to feel as though I am unlovable, right? I can step in with the question of what if I was the most lovable? What would be possible for me? And so, okay, well, if I’m the most lovable, then I can lead people. I can step into new opportunities. I can find love. And then if I’m the most lovable, that means I’m shedding love. I’m sharing love. I’m pushing it out. That energy of love is coming out of my heart. And if I lead in the world like that, what is possible? And the answer to that is everything.”
Sounds awesome, right? So how do we get to that point? To that “everything” mindset?
“And so how do I get there? Well, forgiveness and love. And that’s the steps that you need to take. And there are many ways to kind of eat those vitamins. And we talk about some in the book, but you know, that’s the first step for the person for the person who’s like, ‘Oh, but Jim, you don’t know what I did. You don’t know how many mistakes I’ve made. You don’t know how many times I broke promises to myself. You don’t even know what I look like in the mirror naked. You don’t know uh the times I didn’t keep my word to someone. You don’t know all the failures I’ve had, whatever it might be, right? All the mistakes I’ve made.’ So, the first part is um releasing. And we use things like the [Hawaiian] Ho’oponopono prayer. which is a really powerful energetic vibrational code. It’s like stem cells in your body. All you have to say this and the vibration of it will go and start to heal people and and experiences in you. The second part is sometimes you have to make amends. Sometimes you have to go to those people and say, you know what, I’m so sorry. I made a mistake and um you know, I want to I want to have a new relationship that’s making amends. And then you forgive those people that hurt you. Release their energy. ‘You’re no longer going to rent space in my mind. I release you and give that energy back to you.’ Now, you don’t have to go and tell them that, right? You say that to yourself. And the forgiveness isn’t for them. It’s for you. And then you forgive yourself.”
So what exactly is Ho’oponopono? It’s a Hawaiian practice in forgiveness and reconciliation that goes:
“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”
No wonder Jennifer is so into him! A lot of enlightened thinking here. And it certainly comes in handy when their own romance hits a bump or two.

While he says they have utilized the Hawaiian practice before, they don’t really do it a lot at their stage in the relationship:
“Jen and I have been together a year and a half. So, this tool isn’t, you know, isn’t the first tool that we go to. [The tools we use are] meditation, acceptance, understanding, you know, kind those kind of things. And, you know, in in a honeymoon phase, like your tools don’t have to be like big sledgehammers.”
Host Jamie agrees, and she shares that sometimes when she and her husband mend after a disagreement, she still faces resistance to apologizing until realizing how much better it makes her feel afterward, to which Jim replies:
“And some people say, “If I say I’m sorry, that means I’m not right. And if I’m not right, what does that mean?” Often people say that I’m I’m that means I’m wrong. And if I’m wrong, that means something’s definitely… If I’m wrong, then something is definitely not going right. And the question is like, you don’t have to be right because there’s no right. Everybody has different beliefs, different things.”
That kind of flexible attitude might explain why he and Jen can ebb and flow with life’s busy demands so well! When Jamie asks how things are going in his love life, he has nothing but praise for the 57-year-old Morning Show star:
“It’s going really well. My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving, right? And so she uses words like my love or you know and you she has this group of best friends that are like family. So I feel incredibly blessed to be u part and welcomed into that family. And I feel blessed to be, you know, in a relationship with someone that is so openhearted and, you know, kind and loving.”
What really makes this relationship stand out? How great not only Jen is, but the people she surrounds herself with too:
“Such a beautiful community and group of people. It really speaks to her and them, you know, that everybody is so grounded, so kind and it’s not just to me. There’s a reason why that whole group and community is so beloved, you know, everything that kind of those it’s all true. She is a real example of stepping into possibility. She came from living in New York and New Jersey and [then became] this kind of household name and retained herself.”
Umm… this man is totally a keeper!! Jen is being absolutely adored and cherished for the divinity she is. Yes, girl!! Happy for you!
