Lindsay Clancy’s family has now raised more than $1 million through a GoFundMe, coming just as the Massachusetts murder case against her ended in a mistrial on Friday.
The Musgrove Family Fund had collected $1,167,727 from roughly 34,400 donations toward its $3 million goal as of early Saturday morning over on the online fundraising site.
Its organizer, Brandee Mulligan, told TMZ on Saturday morning that the fundraiser, which was created with Lindsay’s parents Mike and Paula Musgrove’s knowledge and consent, is meant to help them recover from the financial burden of supporting Lindsay throughout her criminal case.

According to the fundraiser, Lindsay’s parents have spent more than three years traveling to court, covering lodging and living expenses, and moving from Connecticut to Massachusetts to stay close to their daughter. The campaign also stressed that donations are not meant to signal support for Lindsay or her defense, and that the money will not pay her legal bills.
The timing is striking. A judge declared a mistrial on Friday after jurors deliberated for about 38 hours without reaching a unanimous verdict. The jury was said to be deadlocked 11-1. Lindsay’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, sought permission to appeal the mistrial ruling, but that request was rejected.
Lindsay has admitted killing her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in their Massachusetts home back in January 2023, but her defense argued she was experiencing postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible.
Now, prosecutors face a major decision: Will they try the case again?
