More details have been released in the tragic death of Presley Gerber.
The 27-year-old model was found dead Sunday at a luxury rehab facility in Santa Monica, California.
Per a statement from the Santa Monica Police Department:
“On September 20, 2026, at approximately 9:35 a.m., Santa Monica Police Department officers responded to a report of a possible overdose in the 1000 block of Berkeley Street. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was deceased. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has identified the individual as Presley Gerber, 27. SMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. At this time, there is no indication of foul play.”
People magazine obtained audio of local dispatch calls, and they report a call was sent in for a cardiac arrest, followed by another call indicating suspected overdose.
An autopsy has since been completed, but the cause of death is listed as “deferred,” meaning more tests will need to be completed before finalizing the report.

Condolences have been pouring in for his family: mother Cindy Crawford, father Rande Gerber, and sister Kaia Gerber. Presley was beloved by his friends and those who worked with him. Paris Hilton, Brody Jenner, Brooklyn Beckham, and more have all paid tribute.
