Tough Times Continue For Mel, His Church Gets Shut Down

Unless The Beaver becomes a huge success and relaunches Mel’s career, it looks like life will continue to be tough for Gibson.

To add to his plethora of pre-existing problems, Mel’s church has stopped all congregational services, due to the fact that a photo of Mel’s daughter was taken on church grounds and sent to the media.

Here’s what a source had to say about Mel’s reaction to the whole situation:

“[Mel was] extremely concerned about the invasion of privacy.”

And more from the source:

“He is not just concerned that photos of his daughter were taken at the church, he is concerned for the privacy of his parishioners.”

Here’s what an email from Church Heads said about the suspension of services:

“There will be no Masses here at Holy Family Chapel until further notice.”

According to the source, the Church will still offer limited services.

Well…it could always be worse, Mel but not much.
