Wow. We guess it’s not the most surprising defense, but it will be rather shocking if it turns out to be true
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 4 for Dr. Conrad Murray to face his involuntary manslaughter charge for the death of Michael Jackson. According to the prosecution, Conrad’s lawyers have prepared a defense claiming that MJ actually caused his own death.
Deputy District Attorney David Walgren told sources yesterday that he is sure that a suicide defense is the “direction” Conrad’s people are going, which we assume means he’s prepared to refute the claim.
Basically, the defense will point out that according to Conrad, he administered only 25 milligrams of Propofol. As 150 milligrams was reportedly found in MJ’s system, the defense will argue that Michael injected more of the drug after Conrad left the room.
But who’s to say that he really did leave the room? Who’s to say he didn’t!
We’ll just have to wait and see what both sides come up with.
