It seems that Dr. Conrad Murray‘s girlfriend will testify on Friday, the fourth day of the preliminary hearing to determine whether he should be tried on an involuntary manslaughter charge in the death of singer Michael Jackson.

It was revealed that Dr Murray made a two-minute cell phone call to Nicole Alvarez from inside an ambulance as paramedics tried to revive Jackson on the way to UCLA Medical Center.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor will decide if there is “probable cause” to send the case to trial.

Michael was likely dead on arrival to the hospital, but doctors continued to try to revive him.

Although Jackson was likely dead on arrival at the hospital, emergency room doctors continued to revive him for over an hour.

Dr. Thao Nguyen said Murray “appeared devastated” as the spoke in the emergency room, adding, “He asked me not to give up easily and try my best to save the patient.”

Prosecutors presented phone records on Thursday that Dr. Murray was talking on almost non-stop on his cell phone for the 45 minutes before he realized that Michael was not breathing.

He spoke with another patient, his Las Vegas clinic and a woman in Houston, Texas.
