Maybe you should forget about this project, and go release another cut of Alexander, Oliver Stone.
This weekend, Stone screened his new documentary South of the Border at Pepperdine University, where he referred to the subject of his doc, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, as “an honest man.”
The film follows Stone himself as he journeys into South America, where he “explores the civil unrest and bloodshed in the region,” whilst slamming America’s government, as well as the media.
Here’s what Stone has said about Chavez:
“He’s an honest man. I sense no corruption in him.”
├óΓé¼┼ôSome people may say [the film is] ├óΓé¼╦£softball,’ but at least it’s counter to what’s out there. Any time something happens, you have to look beyond the surface. Go a little further. Think, ├óΓé¼╦£Why?’├óΓé¼┬¥
Yes, it’s certainly good to “look beyond the surface,” but Hugo Chavez is NOT an honest man! We are shocked to hear that Oliver Stone believes he’s not AT ALL corrupt.
Do U think Hugo Chavez is actually an honest man?
