Private Practice Is Losing A Doctor

It shouldn’t be too big of a surprise, though. Hasn’t she been missing most of the season anyway?
Original Private Practice cast member Audra McDonald is poised to leave the show at the end of this season. Audra was living the bicoastal life, filming in LA and living in NYC, and has decided she wants to spend more time with her family , particularly her 10-year-old daughter.
Understandable. They’re only that young once.
However, Audra’s exit doesn’t mean it will be the last we will see of her character as guest appearances are expected for the coming season.
With Audra clocking out that means there’s room for a new one to step in. Anyone got any suggestions? Perhaps someone from its sister show, Grey’s Anatomy?
